International Challenge Euposia

the twelfth edition will be held in the wonderful city of Orvieto from November 14th to 17th

Since 2008, the Magazine Euposia, along with the Grand Jury Europèen (the highest authority in Europe for professional tastings), organizes the first and only World Championship, by blind tasting, reserved for Sparkling Wines (extra brut, brut, pas dosè) produced with the classic method.

The “classic method” is the “bottle rifermentation” codified in the midseventeenth century and represents the excellence in the production of wines. Famous Classics method are: the Champagnes, the Spanish Cavas, the Blanquette de Limoux, the Loire and Alsace Cremants, the south-africans “Cap Classique”, the British “Merreth method” and the Italian Franciacorta, Trentodoc, Oltrepo, Alta Langa and Monti Lessini.

The next edition of the International Challenge Euposia will be held  in  Orvieto, Italy, from 14th to 17 th november 2019
